Fire Dress-
A photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor uses a light source and a photodetector to optically monitor the changes in blood volume noninvasively. It is the same technology used in devices such as Fitbits and Apple Watches, but for this dress, a small sensor is cased within the model’s handpiece to capture her heartrate. The sensor’s photodetector monitors how much light is transmitted or reflected and an Arduino code is used to compute the model’s heart rate, which is then used to pulse the electroluminecent wire.
